Abby and Isabelle
OK, so she’s not looking all that fashionable right now in her pink and blue knit hat and squished up newborn face, but with a mom like Abby, Isabelle is sure to be one fashion-forward girl.
Isabelle Rose was born in the wee hours of March 1. We thought she’d be a February baby (latent labor started on Feb. 26), but she was hell-bent on waiting until March (preferring to be a spring, rather than winter, baby is my guess and, as a January baby, I don’t blame her).
I’m just happy that 2013 isn’t a leap year, otherwise Abby might still be in labor!
Although the labor was long, mom and baby – all seven pounds of her — thankfully are doing just fine.
