This past Friday, Abby took the stage during a hair and fashion show sponsored by Marci’s Hair on the Square at the annual Chardon Maple Festival. Abby showed off her colorful plumage, sporting a peacock-inspired fantasy up-do.
According to Wikipedia, in Greco-Roman mythology the eyes of peacock feathers come from the watchful guardian Argus and “are said to symbolize the vault of heaven and the ‘eyes’ of the stars.” What could be more comforting than to have a crown of starry eyes watching over you from above?
